What counts toward Apple’s 100-character limit?
Apple’s Keywords field in App Store Connect is exactly 100 characters. Every letter, comma, and space counts. Emoji count as 2–4 characters each. Unicode accented characters generally count as 1.
This tool checks:
- Character count — real-time, against Apple’s 100 limit
- Duplicates — same word appearing twice wastes bytes
- Stopwords — “app”, “free”, “the” etc. that Apple filters anyway
- Spaces around commas — a common waste (“run, track” costs 2 chars more than “run, track”)
- Plurals — Apple matches singular/plural automatically, so the “s” is wasted
What this tool can’t tell you
Whether your keywords actually rank. That requires seeing your impressions and conversion data in App Store Connect Analytics — which you can push-connect via Devflair’s ASO Suite. The Suite generates fresh keyword sets from your app’s context and one-click pushes them to App Store Connect.
Want more than a character check?
Devflair generates ASO copy from your product context, tracks impact over time, and pushes straight to App Store Connect — no copy/paste.
