The steps, written out

  1. Sign up at devflair.xyz/signup with an email and password. No credit card required; the Free tier is live immediately.
  2. Settings → AI Keys. Paste your Anthropic, OpenAI, and/or Gemini keys. Devflair is BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) on the AI side — you pay the provider directly, Devflair never marks it up. Pick a preferred provider.
  3. Settings → Social Accounts. Connect the platforms you want to post to:
    • X (Twitter): developer.twitter.com → create app → Read + Write permissions → paste Consumer Key/Secret and Access Token/Secret.
    • Bluesky: bsky.app → Settings → App Passwords → paste handle + app password.
    • LinkedIn: One-click OAuth — no tokens to manage.
    • Mastodon: Your instance URL + an access token from your instance's Developer page.
    • Threads: Meta developer app + long-lived access token + Threads user ID.
  4. Create a project at /projects. One project per thing you ship. Fill in Name, Website (Auto-fill scrapes the rest), Tagline, Hashtags, and an accent color. The Project context markdown field is the secret sauce — it feeds every AI draft with your release notes, audience, and tone.
  5. Open /compose. Pick your project. Type rough notes in What to post about. Hit Draft with AI — Devflair generates a draft using the project context. Edit, toggle hashtags, pick target platforms.
  6. Publish. Cross-post to X + Bluesky by default, or choose any combination (X only / BSKY only / LinkedIn / Mastodon / Threads / Long-form). The right panel shows a live preview; Drafts and Queue live there too.
